Once the NOIS Assessment is completed the student can enrol in AE Awards and begin work towards three qualifications:
- The Foundation Skills Award (achievement of 20 credits at NZQA level 1)
- The Certificate in Transition Skills (achievement of 30 credits at NZQA level 1)
- The Advanced Certificate in Transition Skills (achievement of 30 credits at NZQA level 1 or 2)
Together these qualifications meet all of the requirements for NCEA level 1
